Film & Photography Volunteer Projects
Thousands of projects are doing invaluable work, but do not necessarily have the skills or time to be able to capture this effectively in photo or film form. Visual evidence is essential to keeping donors and sponsors informed, as well as ensuring that websites and newsletters contain relevant images, thus generating sustainable support.
If you use a camera and social media on a daily basis, take this amazing opportunity to share your abilities with a local project and help them to generate more interest and support for their important work. Bring your own style and creative approaches to share with local teams in order to enhance their projects’ visual appearance and educate them in the different ways of communicating with a global audience. Some activities you can get involved with include: creating portfolios for project beneficiaries, photographing wildlife or communities for use in social media and producing short videos for websites or YouTube.
Apply your photography and/or film skills at our fabulous Africa’s Big 5 in Greater Kruger placement. Join our film and photography internship in Cape Town to get experience that compliments your studies and expands your portfolio. Or, share your skills with others in Belize at our film camp, aimed at exciting young people and providing them with potential future career options.
Anyone with a creative eye and a camera is more than able to join us on a film or photography placement! You will work to produce intriguing, emotional and informative images, enabling projects to better convey their stories, thus improving the sustainability of the organisation.
