“I think others should take part in a program with Kaya because you’re doing a selfless act in an overwhelmingly selfish world. Doing a program in an eastern culture specifically pushes you to see from another perspective, such as doing something for others, not yourself. But volunteering, in general, is doing something bigger than yourself. If the world is to progress in a positive direction, there need to be more selfless actions.”
