If you are studying Social work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services or any of the behavioral sciences, then you can intern alongside professionals in the field, on initiatives caring for the most vulnerable members of our communities.

We have social work and human services placements serving people within a wide range of programs. These include women’s shelters, young mothers’ programs, initiatives working to combat human trafficking, young offenders institutes, youth counseling services, government foster care services, children’s homes, clinical placements, support services for individuals living with HIV and other diseases, migrants, recovering addicts and more.

Working abroad can give you great insight into how social issues are dealt with in other countries and the different approaches taken to support those experiencing difficulties in their lives.
