In the 2 weeks we had in the reserve we managed to get involved with a range of exciting and rewarding projects. These projects ranged from driving through the reserve taking a game count, looking out for new young or injured animals and preparing meals in the elephant sanctuary, to working with the rangers introducing an orphaned white lion cub back to it’s natural habitat… Many of the up-close and personal parts of the wildlife experience were awe inspiring and life changing .. I believe the biggest wildlife benefit Kaya really provides with this program is opening peoples minds. Allowing unsuspecting individuals the opportunity to realise they can make a difference.
