My time in Ghana has been an adventure… The hospital was wonderful in the way it treated me as a volunteer and as a student. I learned a lot from the matron, the research lab leader and the other workers and nurses. I know I will never get the same experience as I did here.
To others considering volunteering. You will never see another planet but you do have the opportunity to re-invent your lives even if only for a short time, bettering the lives of others while you are able. These projects are tailored to suit the individual tastes and abilities and one experience whets the appetite for more hence I am planning to go to the Amazon with Kaya in 2016!?
